elcome to Splendorous Sojourns. The name was inspired by the many wondrous things I have seen and is a literal reference to taking a temporary journey to a place of beauty.

It also describes the guiding principle of my work and my passion for photography in my desire to transform what is simply visual into the more complex and layered realm of the emotional. To produce photographs that effortlessly enable the viewer to connect to the essence of and to be in the place that is before them.

My personal quest to achieve this, is in a sense my own splendorous sojourn as I continue to travel our precious globe to see, to photograph, and to embrace the spectacular beauty around us while furthering my skills and artistry.

It is a pleasure to have you visit and I hope that you will find a sojourn of your own in some of my work as well.
